A modest house in Canberra’s Inner North transformed into a playful yet classic family home. Through major renovation and extension including the addition of a second story the residence has been modernised while retaining the charm of the existing home, something often overlooked. Studio & You designed spaces to suit the needs of little people through schooling years and their parents individually. The generous open living space connecting to an outdoor entertaining area allows for quality family time, while intimate spaces like a library overlooking the front garden and upstairs children’s rumpus offer smaller spaces to retreat. Playful in nature, artisan patterned tiles, pops of colour and feature light fittings bring life and character to spaces throughout. A home that is light filled and welcoming; a home to be lived in.
